I was so disappointed in this vase. It's adorable, and I really want to use it. Unfortunately it has two problems - there's no way to drain the water except for the little holes, so there's no way to properly clean it. That's not a super-big deal, but the way the holes are positioned anything you put in it flops to the back. I've tried stiff stems, floppy stems, stuffing it with toothpicks, nothing worked. Really bummed. It's a cute decoration, but not a vase. Gave it 2 points for cuteness.
We are very sorry to hear you are having trouble arranging your cuttings in the White Siskin Vase. Our suggestion is to cut your stems as short as possible and also fill in the void space of the hole with foliage or additional cuttings. You can see from our pictures, which were arranged by Michele Kinsman, that the stems are upright. Please give the vase another try using our suggestions, of course, we also find the unfilled vase equally adorable.
