So much more substantial than any other birdhouse! Definitely weatherproof, and heavy enough that it won't be blowing around in the wind. You will need a sturdy branch to hang it on. I also appreciate your video on your website on how to open the front door. Great addition to my yard!

The house is very well made. It's heavy, tho, so make sure you have a sturdy tree limb on which to hang it.

I'm so pleased with this German-made birdhouse and I think the birds will like it too. It's uniquely different from my other birdhouses and I expect it to last for many years. It comes with a hefty hook that is large enough to hook around a large tree limb, so there's no need to purchase a hanger. I'm looking forward to Spring to see who settles in to build a family.

I gave this birdhouse as a gift and the recipient was thrilled. They called me to tell me that within one day of hanging the birdhouse it already had interested occupants. This is an extremely well-made birdhouse it will last for many years.

Wrong time of year to bet a nest but I love the look of the birdhouse. My neighbor has one and gets lots of birds so I can't wait.

I bought this for my mother in law because last spring I bought this bird house and had 3 families of baby birds, Chickadees and Wren. The quality is amazing and easy to clean out, this bird house will outlast me.

I had one of these in my yard for over 30 years. The birds loved it. I bought a new one when the old one fell from the tree and broke irreparably.

I'm excited to see new 'boarders' in the tree. This is a wonderful product but I had to contact the company to figure out how to open it, as no instructions come. They were good to put a video on so I watched it all happen. Thanks.

I can't say enough about these nest boxes. I have 2 of them at our main house and another 2 at our vacation home. All 4 of them are 100% successful every year. I have other bird houses as well, but they are not always used for nesting. The birds just seem to really like these particular ones. As for me, the housekeeper, they are super easy to clean out at the end of each season. They are definitely the best nest boxes I've ever had.

I purchased one of these from you in 1989. It has been used every year since, at least twice every spring. This one certainly has the birds' seal of approval! I wish you offered the entire Schwegler line.
