Telescoping handles but too heavy

The telescoping shears are a wonderful concept for reaching higher places without the use of a ladder. I have a pair in a light weight metal, and thought a second pair for my husband to use would be a great idea. We have a lot of topiaries, boxwood, etc. which needs careful trimming and shaping around our historic Virginia house. It turns out that these shears are VERY heavy. My husband can use them, but I certainly can't. We both wish I hadn't bought your shears. It would have been so much wiser to have looked for another telescoping lighter weight pair of shears like the ones we already own. We are quite disappointed in your telescoping shears.
